Children & Teen Camp ArtShops
The Coral Springs Museum of Art offers Camp ArtShops when children and teens are off from school during Summer, Winter and Spring Break!!
Held during the two-week school hiatus for Winter Break. Each week is a separate session. Come for as many days as you like. Children ages 6 to 12 years old attend camp from 9 am to 12 pm each day.
Held during the week school is on hiatus for Spring Break. A different art medium is explored each day. Children ages 6 to 12 years old attend camp from 9 am to 12 pm each day.
This camp consists of a Morning (9 am-12 pm) or Afternoon (1:15 pm-4:15 pm), for ages 6 to 16 years old. Fees vary and include all supplies needed for the week. ArtShop size is limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Waiting lists will be kept and a second class may be added in case of popular demand. ArtShops are offered by age group and subject.
Some of the ArtShops offered are: Ceramic Hand Building (2 week program), Comic Book Design, Art of the Animal, Techniques of Drawing, Drawing and Painting for the Young, Acrylic Painting, Cartooning, Stop Action Animation (2 week program), Papiér Mache, Green Art Explorations, Adventures in Art, Exploring Sculpture, Photography, Photoshop and Fashion Passion!!
Four-week programs for children, adults and teens are held during June & July. These 2 to 3 hour classes begin at 10 am. Programs include Watercolor, Art Studio!!, Techniques of Drawing, and Oil & Acrylic Painting.
